Cruise Seminars

The ITF and its affiliated trade unions ver.di, the Norwegian Seafarers’ Union (NSU), the Italian Confederation of Trades Unions FIT-CISL, and other trade unions worldwide, regularly organize seminars for seafarers working in the cruise industry.

These seminars are regularly held in Europe, India, the Caribbean, Indonesia, the Philippines, and cover the following topics: your rights as a seafarer, ITF unions, collective bargaining and agreements, health and wellbeing, financial planning and much more.

Seafarers are invited to participate in the seminars during the period between their contracts on board. The seminars are free for seafarers and their families, and the unions also cover the travel costs of the seafarer.
