Our ITF Inspectorate

As a seafarer, you play a crucial role in global trade. It's important to know that you have rights, and you don’t have to face challenges at sea alone. If you’re experiencing unpaid wages, unsafe conditions, or unfair treatment or any other contract issues, the ITF and ver.di are here to help.

Germany is home to major ports, where five ITF Inspectors are ready to assist you. They will investigate your complaints confidentially, ensure that your ship complies with ITF agreements, resolve disputes with shipowners or operators on your behalf and provide legal support and advice.
